The Auditor/Treasurer is the Deputy Registrar for the County and administers the License Bureau Department.
Motor vehicle transactions include license plates, tabs, vehicle transfers, new vehicle and out-of-state registrations, boat, snowmobile, all-terrain, motorcycle and trailer licensing.
Driver’s licensing includes driver’s license renewals, name and address changes, identification cards and instruction permits.
Driver’s License Examinations:
every 2nd and 4th Tuesday.
CDL and MC Knowledge Tests:
10:00 a.m. to 11:15 a.m.
All other tests:
Go to drive.mn.gov or call 651.284.1234 to make an appointment.
Testing will be in the Courthouse Meeting Room. Enter through the main doors of the Courthouse and proceed to the last room at the end of the hall on the left hand side.
Also available for purchase in the License Bureau Office are Rainbow Rider Passes.
