The Minnesota Legislature provides funds to counties to implement state feedlot regulations and the amount is primarily based on the number of feedlots in the county.
The reports listed below show the amount and kind of work that was done as well as the cost to perform the work.

Delegated County Feedlot administration is provided by the Traverse County Soil & Water Conservation District. The locally administered feedlot program provides assistance to local feedlot owners while meeting programming goals and objectives as designated by the MN Pollution Control Agency.
Staff perform annual inspections of animal feedlots, assist with delivery of information, and provide assistance with permit applications.
